They support the structure of a damaged tooth, helping to prevent further breakage and sensitivity and can be placed on the front or back teeth.
Composite fillings have a more aesthetic appeal than metal amalgam fillings. Composite fillings do not contain any of the metals, e.g mercury , that the metal fillings contain.
At Cox and Hitchcock we use the most up to date materials and, as such, modern composite fillings are very hard wearing and offer a great alternative to mercury amalgam fillings.
Please feel free to discuss with us you preferred choice of filling material.

"Fantastic dental surgery. Everyone was professional and helpful. I had a dental implant and was initially very nervous about the procedure. My dentist, Vinnie, was just brilliant: incredibly competent, caring and really enthusiastic about his job - you can tell he loves being a dentist! I had my final appointment today and my new tooth looks amazing. I couldn't be happier with the service I received here."
